Description
The Waveshare RP2350-USB-A is a 33 × 17.5 mm development board built around the Raspberry Pi RP2350A — and its headline trick is the full-size USB Type-A port on board. Driven through the RP2350's PIO block, that port lets the microcontroller act as a USB host, so a keyboard, mouse, gamepad or other USB device plugs straight into your project instead of needing a separate host controller.
A second USB Type-C connector handles power and programming, with the usual drag-and-drop UF2 flashing over USB mass storage. Underneath sits the same dual-core, dual-architecture silicon as the Raspberry Pi Pico 2: two Arm Cortex-M33 cores or two Hazard3 RISC-V cores at up to 150 MHz, 520 KB of SRAM and 2 MB of onboard flash. Castellated edges mean the whole RP2350-USB-A mini development board can be reflow-soldered onto your own carrier PCB once the prototype works.
